Vinod Purohit (VP)

Vinod Purohit is the one of the founding members of Cyclone Cycling Club and has been instrumental in the growth of the club adding new cycling members to the club every year. He has been the brain and backbone behind TOA, which started 3 years ago and makes an effort to improve the cycling experience for the riders each year. An Amdavadi businessman, pure passion and love for Cycling has prompted him to form Cyclone along with his friends and organize various cycling events in Ahmedabad and across India. An ardent cyclist, he himself has participated in many cycling events in Ahmedabad and Gujarat and has done several BRM Rides as well. He is the club representative for Audax India Randonneurs and officially supporting and promoting endurance cycling in Ahmedabad. He has several international cyclists as his friends and of all, what he enjoys most is, cycling with his buddies in Holland. With a vast experience and knowledge of cycling, he promises super fun and pure riding joy with every Season of TOA to all its riders.

Jayesh Joshi (JJ)

Jayesh Joshi (JJ) has been in to cycling over 4 years now. He is a senior finance professional in a leading pharmaceutical company in Ahmedabad and a passionate Cyclist. In addition to cycling, JJ is also a runner and is aiming his first Ironaman in Austria next year. JJ has done Tour of Nilgiris (2015), Tour of Aravallis (2016), several BRMs and other cycling events in Ahmedabad. He has ran 5 half marathons and ran his first marathon at TMM Mumbai in 2018. He is a part of core committee for TOA and instrumental in delivering TOA 2.0 (2017) and this year as well. He is fond of photography and loves to go behind lense whenever he gets opportunity.

Rinku Guzraty

Rinku Guzraty is currently working as a General Manager - International Marketing & Sales, with an Ahmedabad based manufacturing company, having diverse operations in the Power, Oil & Gas, and Aerospace & Defence sectors. A Gold Medalist in management studies from a reputed B School, - Perfectionist, Creative, Ambitious, Adventurous, are a few adjectives that describe me. Being a sports enthusiast, she enjoys Running, Cycling and Gym Workouts on different days of the week. It gives her a great start for the day and keeps her energized and active through out the day. She has participated in a few notable half marathons and cycling events organized in the country, till date. She aspires to train for a triathlon, and BRM series of rides in the coming future. Besides, she is an avid reader, a music lover, enjoys watching movies, loves traveling & photography. She is glad to be a part of Team TOA Season 3, and looks forward to a lot of fun and learning from all the amateur and accomplished cyclists who would come from across the globe to participate in this event.

Hemant Nirala

Hemant Nirala works as a manager for Designs & Presentations with a big pharmaceutical company in Ahmedabad. He sincerely got involved with the planning, preparations and execution of TOA Seasons 2 & 3, because of his passionate love for cycling. He has contributed significantly in all the creative design work involved in TOA 3.0. Table Tennis, Cycling and Running are the sports that he enjoys the most and wishes to participate in many upcoming cycling & running events. He looks forward to enjoying being an active key crewmember in TOA 3.0 along with his other crew buddies and make it a hit event.

Rishi Goyal

Rishi Goyal is currently pursuiung his Masters in Human Resources & Marketing Management from Nirma University. He is an endurance cyclist himself and a state level winner of under 18 cycling championship in 2010 and the youngest rider to complete the Tour of Nilgiris in 2009. Besides cycling, he loves traveling and photography, too. He is leading the logistics, photography & the media teams for TOA 3.0. and has been quite a help in the previous 2 seasons of TOA as well. He has also been the key team member helping in organizing various BRM rides in the city and one of the founder members of Decathlon Ahmedabad Cycling Community (DACC).

Lieutenant Khushali Purohit

Lieutenant Khushali Purohit, is NCC Officer, working with Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University whose list of achievements in the field of sports are humungous. She is a Trained Rock Climbing instructor - Mountaineer and has done many mountaineering expeditions in Himalaya. As a Para jumper she has been awarded the best parachute jumper at the national level from Agra Para training School. She has also won many podiums in marathons, both in India and internationally. When it comes to cycling, she has bagged the medals for being a Super Randonneur for successfully completing BRM 200, 300, 400, 600, 1000 Rides in a season. She is a Lima Record holder for her Cycling Expedition - Kullu-Khardungla (World's highest motorable road - 18380ft) and Guiness World Record holder for Satara Hill Half Marathon. Her pure love for sports got her on board of Tour of Aravallis Season 3.

Nisarg Kansara

Nisarg Kansara is an Insurance advisor by profession and Cyclist and Club level tennis player by passion. Cycling had been his hobby right from childhood but he started pursuing it aggressively from January 2015 and did the Dessert Cycling Expedition at Jaisalmer organized by Youth Hostels Association of India. It was 4 days expedition in which he covered 200 km both on road and off road. After that he started doing BRM Rides and completed super series to earn the title “Super Randonneur” in 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17. “Super Randonneur” involves riding 200, 300, 400 and 600 km rides in 13.5, 20, 27 and 40 hours respectively. These events are organized in India by Audax India Randonneurs with affiliation from Audax Club Parisian. Currently he is in the organizing team of Ahmedabad Randonneurs conducting brevet rides through Cyclone Cycling Club. Besides, he has also participated in several cycling events in Ahmedabad & Gujarat like The Impossible Race at Polo forest, Cyclothons, etc. He has also been instrumental in planning and executing Cyclothons events in Ahmedabad along with the organizing company. He had also organized a bicycle expedition in Jambughoda and Shoolpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary in Gujarat, called the “Monsoon Cycling Expedition – 2016”. Total 15 participants completed the expedition successfully covering 300 km in 4 days passing through lush green forest in August 2016. Having an in depth knowledge in the domain of cycling now, he has happily contributed in the planning and execution in TOA 3.0 meticulously, to make it a hit event.
