Tour of Aravallis

The Tour of Aravallis is an exclusive, invite-only cycling tour by Cyclone Cycling Club (Cyclone), Ahmedabad, India.

Cyclone is a not for profit organization with a registered member base of over 1800.

Cyclone has been instrumental in building cycling culture in the region since 2012.

Cyclone has been organizing cycling events such as Tour de Abu, Brevet rides of 200, 300, 400 and 600 kms, Night rides, Dualthlon, ITT to promote cycling for fitness and green environment.

To take the journey further, Cyclone launched Tour of Aravallis in 2016 (TOA). TOA 2016, 2017 and 2018 were grand success and attracted participants across cities of India, UK, Netherland, South Africa.

Team TOA is all set for the forth edition, TOA 4.0 this season.

We are excited to launch the date of the TOA 4.0 for this year. Tour will start on 13th Nov to 17th Nov 2019.

The tour would cover Aravalli range of mountains in the state of Rajasthan. This will be an expedition that spans about 450 kilometers, has an elevation gain amounting to ten thousand plus feet including several classified climbs and passes through some of the most stunning landscapes of Aravalli hills in Rajasthan, Western India is sure to provide each participant with the thrills and lifetime of happy memories.

TOA is aimed to offer lifetime experience to riders and will pass through some of the most astounding terrain of Arravali ranges, Rajasthan. Riders will tested for their endurance, temperament and physical as well as mental limits.

Owing to the exclusive nature of the tour, we shall be selecting only 50 riders out of the total registration entries being received.

Criterial for selection for the tour will be as below:

  • Cycling experience of rider
  • Physical strength based on riding profile
  • Necessary equipment
  • Achievement in the field of cycling
  • Recommendation from renowned cyclists / clubs
  • Passion for cycling

Each interested participant is expected to complete the following form in earnest to stand of chance of qualifying for the tour. The responses are expected to encapsulate the rider’s strengths and experience, potential, past achievements in cycling among other necessary and complementary details.
